With my engagement & couple sessions, I strive to capture the true love and feelings you have for one another. Of course we will start off with some light posing, but throughout our session is when the TRUE magic happens, my favorite types of pictures; gazing into each other's eyes, laughing your hearts out over a stupid little inside joke or even just being plain silly! I promise I will make you both feel comfortable & relaxed during our shoot, like the camera isn't even there! When it comes to you and your hubby's personality, whether it be goofy or unique, I guarantee I will able able to capture your relationship & love into one picture! I'm always so honored to be able to preserve your love & memories that you will be able to look at & cherish for years to come!

 

Tips for Couples:

Bring meaningful items so we can incorporate them into your shoot. Bringing along your ring is a fairly obvious one, but don’t stop there! Bring along presents which you have exchanged with each other, or if you have dog, bring him along too!

Login to Pinterest & start making a board of pictures you LOVE & are inspired by! I love when my clients send me their board so we can be on the same page about the vision of what you want your photo shoot to look like! Pin different images, clothing & location ideas so I can develop a "story" for our shoot!

Wear something you're comfortable in! If you choose clothes that are to tight or clingy, you'll spend your whole session picking at them or covering up! Also, if you choose something you've never worn before,  you'll be worried about how you look in it, or you may discover it's actually terribly uncomfortable, which can come across in your photos! Choose outfits that you both feel like A MILLION BUCKS in! If you do purchase something new, just make sure you take it out for a quick test run! Also, as much as you should consider how your outfits make you feel, also think about how they will photograph during your session! LADIES, I recommend choosing pieces that flow nicely as you move! Also, select clothing pieces that will complement your hubby's look, too. While your outfit doesn't need to be matchy-matchy, you should consider what your outfits will look like when your standing next to each other!

Consider professional hair & makeup for your shoot! If you feel confident in your hair & makeup skills, you can skip down to the next tip! However, if you've never done makeup for photos or you aren't really sure what to do with your hair, you may want to hit up a trusted salon before your shoot! Photos require slightly more saturated makeup than your every day look, so that you don't become washed out. But if you aren't a big makeup lover, and normally are a "natural" kind of girl, don't worry about it! Skip the makeup! I want you to feel beautiful and comfortable in your own skin for your photos!

SET THE SCENE! Location is everything!!! Trust me! So before we just go to the park right down your road, think about what you really love as a couple, and what places reflect that! If you are an adventurous couple, let's take your pictures in the woods! Also, remember, you will want to display your beautiful pictures in your home, so think about the style of your decor and what locations might match that.
