Well hello there! I'm so happy you found my photography page! My name is Ashley, and I am the owner of Ashley Herbst Photography! I'm a 100% Natural Light Photographer based out of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. I recently graduated with an Associates Degree in Psychology & Science at UW Waukesha, and am currently starting my Nursing Degree at WCTC! Alongside of going to school, I currently work at Aurora in the Emergency Department, THIRD SHIFT! As you can imagine, I have a very busy life with school & work, but I ALWAYS find time for my passion of photography! My love for photographing started in high school after taking a photography course; I started taking photos of everything & anything in my parent's backyard. Soon after, I started taking pictures of my friends, for fun, and this is where my true excitement for photography came out! I loved capturing the true spirit and personality of the people I photographed. I know I am young, but believe it or not, I have been photographing professionally for 6 years (Most people tell me I look like I'm 16, but I'm actually 23 :P)! I specialize in senior portraits, family pictures, engagement/couple photographs & maternity photos! My favorite part about photography is being able to capture memories that my clients will be able to cherish forever! What you must know about me is, I am a VERY outgoing person, so having a job where I get to meet and spend time with families, whether that be a senior and their mom & dad, or a family of nine, I always take something away from that photo shoot!
